Jabal Al Hash - With Overnight

Would you like to hike to the Highest point (1700m above sea level) in all of Jordan?  Then you might consider the Jabal Al Hash Hiking Tour.
The word “Jabal” means mountain in Arabic and is located in the Al-Forah area, which  is close to the border of Saudi Arabia. This hike starts early in the morning and ends after a magnificent sunset. 

This is considered by many to be the most beautiful mountain in all of Wadi Rum. So why not book this tour today and see if you agree? 

Our local Bedouin guide will drive you about 40 km southeast on a 4×4 vehicle passing through a unique landscape to reach the bottom of the Jabal AL-Hash.

In order to reach the highest point in Jordan our experienced guide will take you on a hike up the eastern side of the mountain and hike up the Um Snenah Valley to the top. 

When you are at the top, you will be able to experience a panoramic view covering the vast desert portraying its different colours, textures of the surrounding mountains. This amazing scenery is well worth the adventure.

There is some medium climbing required to reach the top of the mountain, but hikers of any experience level will be able to complete this hike. Your guide will help you get by safely at all times.

Once you have come down, our guide will take you back to the camp where you can have some rest, enjoy tea and have a delicious Bedouin dinner.

Our guide will wait for you at the Wadi Rum village rest house, located 6 km from the visitor centre, to
then drive you directly to the Umm Ad Dami mountain, located about 43 km south between the Jordan
and Saudi Arabia border.

This mountain measures 1,854 metres in height.
To reach the top of this mountain, our guide will take you on a hike which it normally requires 2 hours to
go up and less than 2 hours to come down.

When you are on the top you will be able to marvel yourself
with an incredible and unique panoramic scenery, including part of the Saudi Arabian landscape and a
carpet of surrounding mountains.

Provided there is clear sky, you even will be able to sight the Red Sea.

Once you have come down, our guide will take you to a nearby place for you to have some rest and
enjoy tea and your lunch.

Jabal Umm Ad Dami and Desert -2 days Tour

First Day

Imagine spending the day exploring the beautiful Wadi Rum desert on the back of a 4×4. You’ll feel the wind whipping through your hair and the sunshine on your face, smell the fresh air, and see incredible rose-colored sandstone mountains. You will also hike to see some of the most beautiful views of Wadi Rum.

We will meet you at the Wadi Rum Rest House and take you to our home in Wadi Rum village to enjoy a cup of Bedouin tea. As you relax and drink tea, we will talk about your program. You will visit many wonderful natural and historical places in Wadi Rum.

In the morning, we will visit many different places, including:

  • Nabataean Temples
  • Lawrence’s Spring
  • Red Sand Dunes
  • Jebel Khaz’ali Canyon
  • Small Arch
  • Lawrence’s House

For lunch, we will drive to a nice, quiet and shady place where we prepare a Bedouin lunch for you. After we finish our lunch, you can take a rest or walk around to explore the area on your own.

In the afternoon, we will visit the following:

  • Mushroom Rock Bridge
  • Burdah Rock Bridge
  • Umm Fruth Rock Bridge

After sightseeing all day, we will take you to our camp where you can watch an amazing sunset! You will spend the night here and have an authentic Jordanian meal while sitting under the stars. After finishing dinner, we will sit by the fire while making Bedouin tea for you and will spend time talking to you about tour bedouin culture.

Second Day:

After Breakfast and, once refreshed and ready to go, our local Bedouin guide will drive you about 40
km southeast on a 4×4 vehicle passing through a unique landscape to reach the bottom of the Jabal Umm Ad Dami.

Burdah Rock Bridge - with Overnight

We will wait for you at our offie in the Wadi Rum Village, located 6 km from the visitor centre, to then
make our way to our house where you can enjoy some Bedouin tea and relax a bit.

After a few minutes and once refreshed and ready to go, our local Bedouin guide will drive you about 40
km southeast on a 4×4 vehicle passing through a unique landscape to reach the bottom of the Burdah
mountain.

The Burdah mountain is a magnificent rock formation which in height measures 800 metres (the highest
in Wadi Rum) and on which its bridge measures in length 35 metres.

In order to reach the bridge our experienced guide will take you on a hike with an estimated duration of
3.5 hours, through which you will go up the top, spend some time there and come down.

When you are
at the top, you will be able to experience a panoramic view covering the vast desert portraying its
different colours and the surrounding mountains; this amazing scenery is well worth the adventure.

There is some light climbing required to reach the bridge, for which our guide will help you go through it
at all times.

Once you have come down, our guide will take you to a nearby place for you to have some rest and
enjoy tea and your lunch.
