How to get to Wadi Rum Desert

Travelling from Amman:

• The most comfortable, but also most expensive, is to hire a Taxi from Amman to Wadi Rum. It would take around 4 hours to get to destination and cost would be from 110 JD.
• There is also a Bus, much cheaper than a taxi (starting from 9 JD), that you could get at different time options from Amman to Aqaba. If you choose this option, we would be happy to help you to help you arrange a taxi from Aqaba to Wadi Rum, that can cost around 25 JD.

Travelling from or to Petra (Wadi Musa):

• The easiest way to come would be Taxi which will cost around 45 JD. There’s also a shuttle bus that costs 7 JD and leaves Wadi Musa at 6am each day except Friday. You can arrange it through your accommodation in Wadi Musa, travel agent or almost any tourist Infrastructure. Alternatively we will be happy to put you in touch with a trusted driver who will pick you up at your convenience.

Travelling from or to Aqaba:

• The most convenient option from Aqaba would be a Taxi. The trip will take one hour. If you like, we will be glad to put you in touch directly with a trusted driver who will pick you up from your hotel or airport at your convenience.

  Wadi Rum – Aqaba City: 25 JOD
  Aqaba Airport – Wadi Rum: 40 JOD
  Wadi Rum – Aqaba Airport: 30 JOD
  
  Alternatively there’s also a Bus which leaves Aqaba each day at 1 pm and costs 6 JD.

First, arrive to Wadi Rum Village:

• The Wadi Rum Village is a small place located inside of the Protected Area. To get there, you will need to stop first at the Visitor Centre to check your Jordan Pass or pay your entry to the Protected Area (5JD pp).
• Please note that the Wadi Rum village is around 3km from the Visitor Centre. Make sure that your taxi driver or bus gets you all the way to the village.
• Once at the Village, you will be able to find Bedouin Nights Camp Office here. We will welcome you and arrange your trip to our camp in the desert and whatever tour you have booked with us.  You are welcome to park your car here free and safely for the duration of your stay.

From the Village to the camp:

• The Bedouin Nights Camp is located approximately 10 km off-road through the desert. The camp can only be reached with a 4×4 vehicle.

• Otherwise, the cost for this service will be 30 JOD  (per car)
